Description: Main Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Ensure proper material ordering in term of time, quantity and quality.
  • Daily update on raw material prices ( steel , wood , and all material related to manufacturing) 
  • Develop new resources with assurance of improvement in quality, price, payment term and service areas.
  • Monitoring saving in total purchasing by continuous reviewing of prices.
  • Sets monthly, quarterly and annually plans for the purchasing and ordering processes to ensure the continuous improvement and enhanced efficiency.
  • Follow up materials delivery and clearance within agreed time and act proactively for unexpected incidents.
  • Follows the day-to-day operations and materials demand related to own jobs in the Supply Chain and purchasing to ensure continuity of work.
  • Work closely with Supply and demand Planning teams to build proper materials safety stocks and ensure ordering process on-time.
  • Build and maintain periodical reports of purchasing process and plans progress to facilitate follow up and control.
  • Plans the workload within the areas to ensure that all resources are fully utilized.
  • Follows and coordinates that all orders have been created and communicated with Supply chain department.
  • Plans the transfer of stocks from warehouses to departments to ensure that the optimum route is taken to minimize cost and time.
  • Acts as source of general procurement management to teams in order to complete operational and planning tasks.
  • Follows all relevant Supply Chain and purchasing procedures so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
  • Develops and maintains relationships with key vendors / customers to ensure the availability of goods to the required quality, price and delivery.
  • Deals with more complicated vendors in monitoring their conformance with contracts to develop the capability of vendors and ensure that the quality is maintained.
  • Complies with all relevant safety, quality, health and environmental procedures to ensure a healthy and safe work environment.
