Spare parts control Engineer

Plan spare parts requirements using AX program.

ü  MRO project to specified the Maximum stock, Minimum stock and reorder point.

ü  Develop and execute PM plan to achieve spare parts inventory and scrap targets.

ü  Interface with internal & external business partners (customer service, distribution, commercial procurement, demand planning, product management, planning management and engineering) to develop and coordinate supply.

ü  Interface with external vendors to develop and coordinate supply, place POs, and track the incoming supply.

ü  Maintain timely reporting of inventory, backorder and line item fill rate metrics.

ü  Interact with planning management, procurement, engineering, suppliers, etc.

ü  Managing spare parts substitutions and repair parts.

ü  Employ the use of quality and lean thinking tools to identify and drive improvement opportunities.  

BS engineer degree required.

ü  3-5 years’ experience as a Spare Parts Inventory control.

ü  Knowledge of inventory and cost management principles.

ü  Excellent analytical and organization skills.

ü  Highly proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power point skills.

ü  Strong attention to details.

ü  Effective written and oral communication skills.

ü  Function as a team player to build good working relationships and provide back-up as required.

ü  Emphasize result not effort, goal oriented.

ü  Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities.

ü  Ability to manage complex projects (demonstrate innovation, assertiveness and leadership).

ü  Ex experience as a maintenance planner is extra advantage.
