Description: The person is reporting directly to the Maintenance Manager. He is responsible for maintaining the mechanical aspects of the overall operation.The accountabilities of the position are:
  1. To implement the mechanical maintenance schedule of the production machines and supporting equipment as per the respective manufacturer recommendations so as to ensure un-interrupted operation.
  2. To utilize fully the company CMMS system and provide weekly, or as requested by the maintenance manager, reports.
  3. To work closely with all the operations and maintenance teams to ensure timely efforts are made to support daily production needs while maintaining safe working areas, as well as engaged and motivated maintenance workforce.
  4. To minimize any delay in production due to the information passing late or inaccurate.
  5. To work with interdepartmental teams to align programs and resources so as to develop technical solutions of problems aiming to increase equipment reliability and improve their production.
  6. A safe working environment appropriate to the tasks being undertaken.
  7. To maintain the operation, maintenance manuals and technical drawings of machines and equipment.
