SAP Basis Specialist (HANA & S4/HANA)

The SAP Basis Specialist is responsible for managing the SAP environment. In addition to system health-check and ensure ongoing no operation, availability, reliability and performance.

–Responsibilities :

 Starting / Stopping SAP instance

 Print Management

 System Security operations

 Monitor the SAP system for health and performance issues via the EWA.

 System Landscape Configurations and Operations

 Batch jobs creation, controlling and all management operations

 User Administrations and Authorizations

 All backup operations for SAP system

 Request and Transport Management Systems

 Plan and implement SAP Kernel Upgrades

 Plan and implement SAP OSS Notes

 Apply SAP Add-Ons and Support Packages

 OS Space and Disk management

 OS level Backup & Recovery Operations

 OS level Security and Patch Monitoring and Management

 DR management – readiness and testing

 Up-to-date documentation

Database Administration:

Database Management

Database Patch and Version Management Database Performance and Health Monitoring Database Backup & Restore Operations Database Table space and Index Operations

• Degree in discipline related to computer information systems, management information systems, computer science or computer engineering.
   
• 3 years in a similar practice.
   

 SAP on AWS knowledge is a plus Strong problem solving skills
