Description:
  • Global Design Group LTD (GDG), a leading multi-discipline engineering firm engaged in design projects in the MENA regions is seeking Senior Mechanical Engineers in design HVAC, and/or Plumbing/Fire Fighting systems, with a strong command of English and technical skills. 
  • Develop HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Suppression design documents from concept to construction for new and renovated
  • Develop construction cost estimates
  • Develop Life Cycle Cost Analysis during conceptual design to evaluate various HVAC systems
  • Perform analysis and calculations for facility HVAC and Plumbing designs
  • Perform studies for HVAC and/or Plumbing & Fire Fighting systems, evaluations, findings, develop solutions
  • Oversight of the activities of designers and drafters engaged in the design of facility systems
  • Provide technical quality reviews and ensure adherence to Quality Control processes, Codes and Standards
  • Coordinate work between multiple project disciplines
  • Create, monitor and update REVIT families
  • Create and update REVIT project template
  • Prepare (HVAC, F.F. & plumbing) design drawing sheets up to REVIT LOD 350/400
Qualifications:
  • The ideal applicant is a Cairo University, Ain Shams University, and AUC graduate top of their class
  • Knowledge in Navis Works and Dynamo is preferred
  • Expert BIM & Revit Knowledge is a must
  • SI and British Customary Units
  • Strong knowledge in REVIT and responsible to create coordinated mechanical model
