IT Supervisor – Light Current

General / Overall Job Purpose:

• Responsible for providing IT support services for all department, ensuring systems and programs are maintained and supported to the highest standards.
• Ensures all support calls and requests are attended and dealt with appropriately in accordance with defined IT procedure and process, provide a development service to install, setup and configure IT equipment for users and branches.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities :

• Identifies, troubleshoots and resolves hardware, software and network-related problems encountered by end-users of the company, the Internet, the server, POS, PCs, Kitchen Printers and new computer technology.
• Mainly will be responsible for the light current tasks such as (CCTV, Telephones, TVs, ….etc.)
• Configures and installs Windows workstations and operating systems in response to the demands of a complex network design
• trains end-users on the use and features of the various operating systems and applications on the various platforms.
• Performs primary network system administration on network servers as needed.
• Installs, certifies and troubleshoots company’s network cabling infrastructure, including a wide variety of local area network equipment and software.
• Uses established tracking system to log requests; monitors progress, tracks problem resolution, identifies patterns of failure, researches bug fixes and implements solutions; communicates with manager regarding unresolved problems.
• Works with vendors in coordination with IT Manager to resolve hardware operating system issues; researches and tests possible solutions and implements solutions.
• Undertaking routine preventative measures and implementing, maintaining and monitoring network.
• Perform other function that will be requested by the IT Manager from time to time.

• Must have from 1-3 years experience in the light current jobs such as (CCTV, Telephones, TVs, ….etc.)
• Resorts & Hotels Experience is preferred.
• Faculty of engineering or computer science graduate is preferred.
• Excellent communication ability
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair issues.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams
