Planning Engineer (Fit-outs)

This role is responsible for the submission of planning schedules to ensure that work is completed as scheduled and to identify schedule-associated cost trends for management attention and action. Responsible to support development of the monthly reports and to perform schedule assessments.

• Responsible for preparing Preliminary time schedules for tendering.
• Responsible for preparing detailed baseline time schedules 
• Updating Time Schedules on weekly basis
• Responsible for recovery and crashed schedules to be carried out 
• As the work flows, keep updating the status of time performance of the project, and identify prospect claims and variations.
• Developing Cash flow and curves for planned projects
• Help developing procurement schedules and following up with the concerned team
• Time Schedule to reflect legal approvals and permits by the Client, mobilization, engineering approvals, procurement activities, construction, and closeout/handover activities (Snagging, de-snagging, commissioning, de-commissioning, etc…).
• This step is repeated all over the project duration.
• Responsible for weekly schedule updates and 2-week look-ahead schedules (or as may be otherwise dictated by the Contract) based upon the relation between the actual work progress reflected and the required targets to be achieved for the forthcoming period, to be attached to the weekly report.
• Support in identifying the root causes behind delays, and to accordingly formulate recovery schedules to control the delay.

• Bachelor Degree in Construction Engineering  
• Primavera P6 is mandatory
• PMP/PSP is a plus
• Required experience in construction (finishes & fitouts).
• Attention to detail and accuracy
