Odoo System Architect

As a Solution Architect, you will take the customers’ requirements (as documented by the business analyst) and design an Odoo solution to meet their needs.

Understand the "Odoo way of doing things" to guide the requirements.

Compare the customer's needs with Odoo's built-in functionality.

Evaluate available Odoo modules (both OCA and from the Odoo app store) and decide which modules to use.

Work out the configuration and the additional custom development that will be needed, then write a technical specification for our development team.

Responsible for planning and overseeing overall systems/application architecture, including ERP and e-commerce solutions, planning for the most secure, robust, and scalable architecture.

Analyze current technologies used within the company and determine ways to improve.

Understand and constantly improve system architecture, to prepare for edge cases and extreme stress testing.

Document and monitor requirements needed to institute proposed updates.

Work closely with ERP developers, web developers, and management professionals within the company to ensure systems are functioning properly.

Propose and establish a framework for necessary contributions from various team members.

Account for possible project challenges on constraints including, risks, time, resources, and scope.

Work closely with project management teams to successfully monitor the progress of initiatives.

Be a proactive team member and come up with new ideas and solutions as per company needs.

Responsible for database administration and optimization, mapping of relational fields, to plan for scale.
