Web Designer

Our talented Web Designer will create amazing user experiences.  He

should have an eye for clean and artful web design. He should also have

superior user interface design skills. The successful candidate will be

able to translate high-level requirements into interaction flows and

artifacts and be able to transform them into beautiful, intuitive, and

functional designs.

Responsibilities: 

• draw up detailed website specifications
• design sample page layouts including text size and colors
• design graphics, animations and manipulate digital photographs
• carry out coding (HTML/CSS/Javascript) where and when needed
• work with different content management systems
• search engine optimization (SEO)
• meet relevant legal requirements such as accessibility standards, freedom of information and privacy
• edit content, debug code and re-design web pages
• research current design trends

Requirements:

• Proven work experience as a Web Designer
• Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio
• Solid experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps
• Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator or other visual design and wire-framing tools
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS and JavaScript for rapid prototyping
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
• Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction
• Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
• Up-to-date with the latest Web trends, techniques and technologies
