Project Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION

• The Project Manager will be responsible for handling the planning and execution of IRSC projects, it will provide support to IRSC Engineering, Business Development, and project site teams in the execution of the projects in support of the company’s strategic project plan.
•  The Project Manager will manage project deliverable requirements and contracting relations, in addition, to establish and monitor metrics (ex: HSE), project schedules, and cost performance of the project in accordance with company systems and practices.

The Project Manager will have therefore the following main functions:

• Project Management
• Review and approval of work
• Support to teams
• Reporting

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Develop and update the Project Plan, Bill of Materials (BOM), Purchase Orders, Chart Structure, and Scope of Work for Different Parties including but not limited to Operational, Financial, Quality, and Safety Parties.
• Select and Manage all Sub- Contractors, Foreign / Local 3rd Parties Responsible for all Related Project Studies.
• Execute the Risk Assessment Reports (RAR) and Method of Statements (MOS) for the Project Tasks.
• Define and Manage the Daily Project Development Activities, Establishing Priorities, and Coordinate Tasks.
• Create and Maintain Comprehensive Project Documentation.
• Monitor Civil, electrical, and mechanical construction progress across project schedule.
• Maintain HSE Regulations and commitment on project sites.
• Provide on-site guidance and supervision to site-conducted works.
• Evaluate potential subcontractors and assist in project financial controlling.
• Establish and monitor Project Schedule, estimations, and baselines.
• Review and approve material submittals.
• Review executing works quantities and quality of works.
• Assist the Engineering team on Designs Based on the site requirements.
• Assist on project permitting where needed
• Provide Punch lists for completed and/or near completion projects.
• Define, Execute and Report the regular Project construction works in Periodical Internal and External Progress Reports.
• Ability to transport in between remote sites within Egypt.

These responsibilities are subject to change depending on the needs of IRSC. There may be a need for travel to support the Company’s Strategy, within the scope of the role in IRSC.

WHAT WE ARE EXPECTING FROM YOU

• Bachelor’s Degree in electrical engineering is Preferred
• Minimum 5 years of experience.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification / International Project Management Association Certificate (IPMA) is preferred.
• Previous Experience with Project Scheduling Software (Primavera / Microsoft Office) is a Must.
• Excellent command of English language.
• Previous experience in PV Power Plant Projects Execution and Exposure is Preferred.
• Previous experience with AutoCAD, Applicable Design Software.
• Previous experience with HSE Regulations.
• Previous budget, schedule, performance, quality responsibility.
• Previous experience in Local and International Standards for design, construction, and completion of projects.
• Ability to conduct negotiations with vendors, suppliers, governmental entities, and utilities.
• Member of the Egyptian Engineering Syndicate.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on listening to the customer.
• Be organized, available, and with a high sense of responsibility.
• Ability to prioritize and handle numerous competing demands in a high-volume, fast-paced working environment.
• Be self-motivated, and able to manage stress and work under pressure.
• Be resilient and proactive.
• Shall have a very good Leader Ship and teamwork skills.
