Description:

TASKS & DUTIES:

  • Review new product plans and make recommendations for material selection based on design objectives, such as strength, weight, heat resistance, electrical conductivity, and cost.
  • Ensuring supply meets the needs of the customer order and/or forecasted demand
  • Releasing and scheduling of process orders to the shop floor
  • Release of purchase requisitions and/or stock transport orders 
  • Review and update safety stocks, lead times and other MRP data
  • Escalate to “Plant Manager” and “Demand Planner” when a customer order will be impacted by supply
  • Develop, present, or respond to proposals for specific customer requirements, including request for proposal responses and industry-specific solutions 
  • Review documents such as production schedules, work orders, and staffing tables to determine materials requirements, and material priorities
  • Resolves problems utilizing acquired knowledge & analytical abilities
  • Excellent ERP use
Qualifications:

EDUCATION:

  • Bcs. Degree Mechanical Production Engineering

EXPERIENCE:

  • 10-12 years Experience 

SKILLS:

  • Time Management
  • Organizing, Planning, and Prioritizing Work
  • Ability to liaise effectively with other departments 
  • Financial management
