Fresh Graduated Transportation Dispatcher

Job Overview

• The primary job of a Transportation Dispatcher is to oversee the personnel, workload, and daily activities of organizations that rely on vehicle use as part of their normal operations.
• The typical duties and responsibilities of a Transportation Dispatcher include monitoring the transportation budget, implementing business objectives, and supervising employee performance.
• Other tasks include ensuring adherence to safety standards, delegating work assignments to drivers, and managing databases. You will also assist with the hiring and dismissal of employees and training other team members on department policies and procedures.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities 

• Ensure implementation day-to-day activities of transportation.
• Supervise workloads, schedule, tasks and other related functions.
• Maintain and manage all databases relating to transportation activities.
• Ensure compliance of safety standards in transportation functions.
• Ensure maintenance of vehicles in good running condition.
• Handle loading and unloading operations.
• Initiate cost efficiency measures in transportation operations.
• Implement environmental laws, procedures and processes.
• Build internal and external customer relationships.

• Age from 22 – 26
  1-2 years of experience in transportation Operations and monitoring  is preferably 
  Strong written and verbal and presentation skills
  Strong leadership and organizational skills

Requirements

• Leadership & management skills, Interpersonal Skills, Customer Service, Logistics Knowledge & experience at Entry level with at least 3 years of experience, Transportation & logistics industry knowledge in Egypt, IT Knowledge, results oriented and Problem-Solving skills; Critical/ strategic Thinking, planning and execution, presentation skills, Effective Oral and Written Communication Skills in knowledge in all MS Office & research skills & Latest Transportation management Platforms, ERP, GPS, SAP, Oracle, Odoo
• knowledge in GPS tracking & fleet management platforms, Roads Network and Road Routing Information in EGYPT.
