CVM Technical Expert

Role Objective:

Leading the implementation of CVM Strategy for both Outbound & Inbound Campaigning Capabilities within Etisalat Misr.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Outbound Capabilities:

1. Build, maintain, and ensure scalability of Outbound Campaign Management system sustaining high loads and business continuity.
2. Etisalat Misr is Calibrating on Teradata Technology CIM –Customer Interaction Manager- as its main outbound Campaigning Tool.
3. Contribute in the business journey assessments and design implementation of products over Outbound Campaigning system.

Inbound Capabilities:

1. Build, maintain, and ensure scalability of Outbound Campaign Management systems sustaining high loads and business continuity.
2. Etisalat Misr is Calibrating on Teradata Technology RTIM –Real Time Integration Manager-as its main inbound Campaigning Tool.
3. Contribute in the business journey assessments and design implementation of products over Inbound Campaigning system.

Self Service Capabilities:

1. Build, maintain and ensure usability of SelfService capabilities to enable business user of applying his day to day campaigns and necessary changes to customer experience.
2. Self Service Capabilities includes the following

• Messaging Engine (Notifications Platform)
• Mobile Advertising Systems (Powered by Lagorta)
• CVM Offers Hub.
• CVM Channels Hub.

Second Line Support Activities:

• Provide Second line support activities to our Operations and 1st line support team.
• Support in the Business investigations running on different CVM Platforms coming from (Inbound/Outbound) Channels.
• Provide support to business users to best utilize the existing Self Service Capabilities

Desirable Qualifications and Experience

• Engineering Bachelor Degree in System/Software Engineering.
• Master’s Degree in Data Science is a plus
• Data Management Certification is a plus. 

Knowledge:

• Knowledge of Hadoop ecosystem, Pig Latin or HiveQL
• In depth knowledge of one or more of the following: Teradata, SQL, R, Python, Unix Scripting, ETL tools
• Capability to execute complete analysis process from data extraction / manipulation through QC, report and delivery of data and reports
• Ability to create automated process and knowledge on CronTab, autosys or related tools
• Exposure to Tableau, Power BI or other BI tools
• Knowledge of Bigdata Cloudera Implementation and administration.
• Knowledge of Data Streaming Capabilities KAFKA/SPARK/STORM.
• Knowledge of IN Memory Database Capabilities i.e. HBASE
• Knowledge of database implementation using relational databases.
• Knowledge of Linux/Unix/Windows.
• Knowledge of data warehouse technologies, tools and solutions.

Education:

• Engineering Diploma in Systems/Software engineering/Data Management.

Prior Work Experience:

• 5+ years of professional experience working with data management solutions.

Language Proficiency:

• Fluency in both spoken & written English & Arabic language is required.
