Accounts Payable Accountant

• Maintain vendor’s data (commercial register, tax ID)
• Maintain and record vendors’ invoices and ensure that they are properly supported by documents, approved and posted to correct G/L and assigned to the proper cost center.
• Compare of the quantities, price per unit, terms, etc. appearing on the vendor’s invoice to the information on the purchase order and to the quantities actually received appearing in goods receipt form
• Audit invoices for the appropriate sales tax rates and calculation issues; post to a General Ledger
• Ensure all accounting & Internal Controls are performed and evidence is maintained.
• Responsible for contracts accounts for Vendors and contractors.
• Review invoices and requisitions for satisfactory payment approval and checks issuance
• Follow up outflow budget.
• Analysis cost of projects periodically.
• Making monthly, quarterly and annually expenses reports
• Monitoring & auditing vendors’ statements.
• Prepare withholding tax, stamp tax and Value Added tax reports.
• Follow up on the prepaid accounts to check the expenses and the remaining amounts.
• Maintain the custodies, their settlements and documents
• Ensure compliance with corporate policies, government regulations and EAS standards.
• Assist with audits. Answer accounting and audit questions by researching and
• interpreting data.
•  Issuing suppliers checks and deducting withholding tax.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree in accounting, finance or equivalent.
• Basic understanding of principles of finance, bookkeeping and EAS (Egyptian Accounting Standards).
• Experience from 3-5 Years in the same job.
