System Engineer- Microsoft Exchange

• Responsible for planning, designing, installing, maintenance, and recovery of server and storage hardware/software that is used as part of the Microsoft Exchange and Active Directory.
• Designing, planning, installing, configuring, supporting, and optimizing Exchange server systems.
• Monitor each and every part of the operating system like checking the disk space at regular intervals, checking the software versions.
• Run the diagnostics on the services which are essential for a server to run
• Integrate Exchange with load balancing, anti-spam, and content filtering solutions
• Writing Power-Shell scripts according to business needs.
• Creating PowerShell scripts for the administration of Exchange servers and advanced troubleshooting.
• Assist with large-scale Exchange migrations.
• Resolve escalated email routing, connectivity, and filtering support issues.
• Manage permissions to monitor mailbox quotas/space and also to check where the email has stuck and made sure that the email reaches its destination.
• Resolve support tickets and requests.
• Monitor backups and perform periodic test restores.
• Other related tasks or duties as assigned or required.

A Must Requirements:

• Solid knowledge in AD architecture and infrastructure (LDAP, Directory Replication, group policy, security, schema changes, etc.)
• Solid Knowledge of DNS, Kerberos and Windows Authentication, to include authentication with other technologies for Single Sign-On
• Solid knowledge in Exchange Server 2013, 2019.
• Solid knowledge in Email Routing.
• Solid knowledge in Power Shell and Scripting.
• Analysis and troubleshooting Skills.

Skills and knowledge required:

• Excellent understanding of Microsoft Active Directory. (Must)
• Good Knowledge in Disaster Recovery, DR Site.
• Expert in Exchange 2013, 2016 and 2019
• Excellent understanding of PowerShell (Includes Exchange Management Shell) scripting. (Must)
• Excellent understanding of E-Mail Routing, Email Tracking, SMTP / application Mail Relay, Backup and Restore, single mailbox, Distribution Group, Public Folder, and DAG.
• Good understanding of Network.
• Able to work out of business hours.
• Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills with proven ability to explain technical issues to non-technical people.
• +7 years of experience supporting the Microsoft Exchange 2013, 2016, 2019 environment.
• Participated in large-scale migration to Exchange 2019.
• Exceptional customer support skills.
• Skill in working independently.
• Skill in assessing and prioritizing multiple tasks, projects, and demands.
• Skill in working in fast-paced, stressful environments.

Required Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology OR 5 years of equivalent experience
• 5 or more years’ experience as a Windows 2012/2016/2019 Systems Engineer
• 3 or more years’ experience in systems support/integration/design in large (1000+ user) environments
• 3 or more years’ experience in leading and implementing projects
• Expert in exchange database recovery.
• Expert in architecture and design.
