| Description: | The Optometrist will work in an eye-wear retail to deliver the best-in-class optical/vision consultation at the location and work in coordination with the team and Sales Manager. Client Details One of the largest retail groups in the region, who have over 300 stores and have been significantly investing and developing their vision business and have now become the region’s largest vision business. As such, they are now the host to over 100+ brands with over 77 stores, which will increase to 100 in 2022. They have also created a training and development academy within the region. We are currently looking to hire Optometrists from within the retail industry and have several locations on offer such as UAE, Qatar, Bahrain and Oman. Description Performing eye testing and prescription writingDispensing and selling optical frames, contact lenses and sunglassesChecking optical frames and contact lenses for accuracy and comfortAdvising customers on eye wear options, optical lenses and contact lensesAchieving sales targets with regard to selling optical frames, sunglasses, contact lenses and other accessoriesSupporting sales staff in their day to day transactionsPerforming in shop inventory and ordering stocksLiaising with sales representatives from eye care product suppliers Profile Bachelor / Diploma in OptometryAT LEAST 2 years post-graduate experience as an OptometristEligible for the license in the UAE or QatarPreferably experience in a retail storeWilling to relocate to any of these 4 countries: UAE/Qatar/Bahrain/Oman Currently based in Europe/ UK/ South Africa Job Offer On offer is a competitive tax free salary, monthly commissions, full relocation support and reimbursed for licensing costs. |
