| Description: | FOR TWO MONTHS ONLY Reporting to the Manager, Stadium Park & Ride Bus Systems, the Deputy Manager, Stadium Park & Ride Bus Systems is responsible for the efficient and safe running of operations at Park & Ride facilities and has oversight of, and including but not limited to, Driver Supervision, Load Zone operations, Bus Staging, Traffic Marshalling, Crowd Management & Queuing, PAX loading and off-loading, and administration of daily service rosters & run sheets.Minimum 5 years of progressive responsibilities and work-related experience, and any combination of education and training, which provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job, combined with demonstrated professional growth and achievement▪ Previous involvement in planning and operating complex events in size and nature of a FIFA World CupAssists in the management of the daily operations of the Stadium Park & Ride Bus System ▪ Ensures that accurate data is provided for the scheduling of buses at Park & Ride facilities ▪ Ensures that the appropriate operational requirements of Park & Ride facilities are enforced ▪ Manages and assists where necessary, the training and mentoring of the Park & Ride Bus Systems staff ▪ Works with external agencies to ensure a coordinated approach to Security at Park & Ride facilities ▪ Administers daily staff rosters & run sheets ▪ Deputize, if required, for the Manager, Stadium Park & Ride Bus SystemsExperience in supervising workforce teams▪ Operations related training in transport and/or logistics▪ Knowledge of operational principles, techniques and procedures▪ Prepared to take accountability and make decisions▪ Detail oriented▪ Pragmatic and practical with a clear eye on solutions▪ Self-motivated and confident in leading a team▪ Hardworking and reliable▪ Advanced level Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) |
