Sea Freight Coordinator – Export & Import

The Candidate should have knowledge about handling Sea Export shipments:

• Gathering shipping lines freight rates and negotiate till getting the best rates and terms.
• Negotiating the best rates with the truckers & customs clearance agents & follow up with them to ensure smooth handling of our clients’ shipments.
• Prepare & send offers to our target clients.     
• Coordinating with our client to arrange booking, trucking & order the truckers.
• Prepare & send shipping declarations to shipping lines/airlines & trucking order to truckers.
• Follow up with the truck drivers and clearing agents till the shipment is placed in the seaport warehouse and all clearance procedures are finalized.
• Review Ocean B/L  to match the received shipping declaration.
• Issue HB/L and any required certificates.
• Issue shipments’ invoices to our client.
• Co-operate with the Financial dept. to ensure collecting the issued invoices on time.

The Candidate should have knowledge about handling Sea Import shipments:

• Gathering the agents , shipping lines or Co-loaders’ freight rates and negotiate till getting the best freight offers to the required freight terms.
• Negotiating the best rates with Truckers & Customs Clearance agents
• Making & sending offers to our target clients.     
• Following up with the agents to ensure smooth handling of the shipment.
• Checking with the importer the Ocean B/L and other required shipping documents to match the already received shipping instructions .
• Checking the agents, shipping lines or co-loader’s invoices before ordering the Financial Dept. to settle them.
• Issuing the delivery order upon the shipment’s arrival to the Egyptian seaport.
• Issuing shipments Invoices to our client.
• Co-operating with the Financial Dept. to ensure collecting the issued invoices on time..

• Experience 5 years at a freight forwarding company,
• Very good command of English language
