Description:	Leads cost targeting and benchmarking activities to achieve the lowest operating cost and support the implementation of cost reduction opportunities. Contributes to the development of cost improvement vision, strategy, policies, processes and procedures in order to aid and improve operational performance. Ensures the organization has a robust cost estimating process in place to meet the project requirements, aligning with the quality and regulatory standards Supports continuous improvement through cost engineering techniques and processes, identifying inefficiencies and cost optimization opportunities. Manages the identification of key areas requiring improvement and applies cost estimation techniques to drive cost reductions and aid operational processes and efficiency. Reviews, analyses and understands economic trends and considers risks and cost implications that may affect the organization in order to develop action plans accordingly. Ensures professional and consistent cost improvement management processes are applied in the business Manages the implementation of appropriate monitoring systems and ensures periodic maintenance in order to meet the objectives. Stays up to date with project updates/changes and supports the project manager in ensuring all costs are identified and tracked against the budget. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to implement cost improvement activities in the business and ensure optimal performance. Identifies and leads cost-saving initiatives within the company.
Qualifications:	Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Finance or a related field 2 – 4 years of experience in a relevant position.
