| Description: | Job Purpose: To ensure the IT environment is secured and all the necessary controls are put in place. Engineer best security practices. Key Result Areas: 1. Creating cloud-based programs including implementing identity and access management and securely configuring cloud environments.2. Performing threat simulations and penetration tests to identify and detect possible risks.3. Providing security recommendations on service design and application development and coding.4. Managing cryptography and encryption of data in the cloud.5. Logging, monitoring, and responding to detected incidents in the cloud environment.6. Apply adept understanding and experience with systems automation platforms and technologies7. Partake in efforts that shape the organization’s security policies and standards for use in cloud environments8. Interpret security and technical requirements into business requirements and communicate security risks to relevant stakeholders ranging from business leaders to engineers9. Direct and influence multi-disciplinary teams in implementing and operating Cyber Security controls10. Collaborate with application developers and database administrators to deliver creative solutions to difficult technology challenges and business requirements 11. Provide subject matter expertise on information security architecture and systems engineering to other IT and business teams12. Execute security architectures for cloud cloud/hybrid systems13. Responsible for automating security controls, data and processes to provide improved metrics and operational support14. Employ cloud-based APIs when suitable to write network/system level tools for safeguarding cloud environments15. Stay abreast of emerging security threats, vulnerabilities and controls 16. Spot and execute new security technologies and best practices into the company’s Cloud offerings.17. Experience in cybersecurity related to cloud computing services offered by multiple vendors and utilized in hybrid deployment architectures18. Experience in evaluation of security-focused tools and servicesExperience in identifying security issues and risks, and developing mitigation plans |
